Siva 12" finally!!

Jikes! Just got my copy of the Siva 12" (HUTT6) vinyl by The Smashing Pumpkins! It was a pure bargain, only 37 USD (plus shipping of course). Having wanted this vinyl (plus the Tristessa 12" that I also have) badly since being 15 years of age, I'm relieved that it's finally in my possession. As before said this was a bargain for me, when normally the price of this vinyl limited to 5000 copies usually lands anywhere from 30 USD to 90 USD.

The condition is EX/EX !

Before Cars "Old Chair" 7" signed by Chad Channing!

It has finally arrived. Not only has this bands lead singer played drums on Nirvana's Bleach album from 1989 (before the giant success followed by Nevermind), but his most recent band Before Cars is making some kick ass music for sure!

Thanks to Rob on Flotation Records in Seattle I got four signed copies of their seven inch for a decent price!
However, according to Chad himself there has been plans on a full length album for some time now. We are on the edges of our seats until it will be released!

As for myself being a great Nirvana-fan (duh, who hasn't!?) in my early and middle teens, I always liked Chad Channing's drumming style more than let's say David Grohl's. Dale Crover was great too!

This is a really precious gem limited to 500 copies only, but since they aren't really THAT big it's a pretty standard amount. Cool for sure anyways!

Signed back.

Honey Made Opiate + Live songs

Wow, this is the part where I'm gonna do some self-promotion. Our band Honey Made Opiate played it's first live show ever with the current lineup. Things went pretty OK, although I had some difficulties hearing my guitar in the right monitor, as ALWAYS (so fucking tired of this problem..)

Needless to say, In My Tree actually turned out better than expected. Played some new songs to. Amongst them were Smash!, Keep It Clean (which features a harmonica, but at the time I couldn't find the harmonica so we just did it without it..) and Stand My Loss for instance. A new killer song has been written in the past weeks called Arena Sky. Great song and very psychedelic. Very sick. So right now Honey Made Opiate is just looking for smaller venues/clubs and stuff.
